![]() What I have been working on is similar to the first draft of an essay. This may seem drastic if you haven’t spent much time in software development, but it is actually quite standard. Then, once that video is posted, I will start the largest project I have before applying to publishers, and the main reason I want to lock character movesets… I will be throwing out the code and starting over. The week after – Early this week, I will be posting the first video devlog for Hamster Brawl. Along with that, the final alpha game mode, tag team, will be added to the game! I have high hopes for this mode and think it may even take over as the main way to play Hamster Brawl! I want to spend a longer time with these movesets to get a better feel of how they will develop over time as people learn them. Next week – I will fill out the rest of the move sets and they will be locked in for now. This week – I have mostly finished the move sets for each of the characters with only a few known holes. In these talks, we have found that we are both pretty confident that with the work that you all have seen, along with the work we have been doing on the single-player campaign behind the scenes, we are getting pretty close to having a game a publisher might be interested in! With that in mind, we put together a list of features/milestones that we want to hit before we start applying to publishing companies and it looks like we can get them done in the next 2 to 3 months! The changelog mostly speaks for itself, so I will leave it to do that, and instead I want to talk a little bit about the future.Įmry and I have been talking a lot about long term goals and how we can make this project a sustainable endeavor for them and their limited runway. Boulder gets his second ability, Scratch gets an upgrade to momentum redirect, and Syl gets some major buffs! (Oh and Roscoe should be playable now, thanks to some performance improvements). Hey everyone! This week brings another update to Hamster Brawl focused on getting each character to feel fun and distinct.
